At Kojitsu-an, our theme is "Reclaiming the fading essence of traditional Japanese daily life."
In addition to offering tea ceremony and kimono dressing classes, we are also working to promote tea weddings, also known as chakonshi (tea ceremony
weddings).
For example, your motivation could be anything: a love of Japanese sweets, a desire to wear a kimono, or a desire to discover a new hobby.
We hope to provide a fun opportunity for you to experience Japanese culture, foster compassion through our classes, and
meet wonderful friends.
In addition to seiza-style lessons in our tea room classes, we also offer table-style tea ceremonies at shrines and Japanese restaurants, where even those who find
seiza difficult can try it.
